Chapter 1
Johnny’s Surprise Visitor
One day Johnny is sitting outside when the Sprites suddenly appear.
“What’s Johnny?” Lily asked.
“I miss my sister.” Johnny answered.
“She was just here visiting you yesterday.” Basil said.
“I don’t mean Tina because I have another sister.” Johnny replied.
“What’s her name?” Lily asked.
“Her name is Jewel and she’s my twin sister.” Johnny answered.
“You have a twin sister?” Ginger asked.
Johnny nods his head.
“Yes I do.” Johnny answered.
A few hours later the Sprites are back in Grotto’s Grove. Johnny is just hanging by himself when suddenly someone covers his eyes.
“Guess who?” A voice asked.
Johnny smiled.
“I know that voice anywhere.” Johnny answered.
Johnny takes the hands away than turns out around to find his twin sister Jewel standing behind him. Johnny gives Jewel a passionately sisterly hug. Johnny looks at the tunnel than sees Root. Johnny walks over to Root.
“Where are you doing here all by yourself?” Johnny asked.
“Nobody want to play with Root.” Root answered.
Jewel walks over them.
“Who’s this?” Jewel asked.
“This is Root and his sprite from Grotto’s Grove.” Johnny answered.
“Hi there Root.” Jewel said.
Root hides behind Johnny.
“It’s ok, this is my twin sister that I was telling you about early.” Johnny replied.
Root looks up Jewel than smiles. All of sudden Lily, Basil and Ginger appear. Jewel looks at them.
“Are you Jewel?” Basil asked.
“Yes I am.” Jewel answered.
“I’m Basil.” Basil said.
Lily smiled.
“I’m Lily and she’s Ginger.” Lily replied point to Ginger.
“Are you really Johnny’s twin sister?” Ginger asked.
“Yes I am but I’m 3 years minutes than Johnny.” Jewel answered.
“How’s mom doing?” Johnny asked.
“She’s doing good.” Jewel answered.
“What’s your mother’s name?” Basil asked.
“Our mother’s name is Loralei but she prefers to be called Lora.” Johnny answered.
“Dad’s good too.” Jewel said.
“What’s your dad’s name?” Ginger asked.
“Our dad’s name is Jimmy-Ray.” Jewel answered.
“Is this anyone else in your family?” Lily asked.
“Yes there is.” Johnny answered.
“What are their names?” Ginger asked.
“There names are Melina, Trey, Brooke, Christian, Bryan and Nora.” Jewel answered.
“When was the last time you saw them?” Lily asked.
“I seen them before I came but Johnny hasn’t seen them since he moved here.” Jewel answered.
Johnny sighs. Jewel gives Johnny a hug. Lilly looks at Johnny.
“You’ll see them again soon.” Lily said.
Jewel smiles.
“Yeah sooner than you think.” Jewel replied under her breath.
“What did you say sis?” Johnny asked.
“You’ll find out when the time comes.” Jewel answered.
“Why are you here?” Johnny asked.
Jewel smiles.
“I came to tell you some exciting news.” Jewel answered.
“What news?” Johnny asked.
Jewel holds up her hand in front of Johnny’s face.
“Jonah asked me to marry him.” Jewel answered.
Johnny smiles than hugs Jewel.
“That’s great news sis.” Johnny said.
“Who’s Jonah?” Basil asked.
“He’s my sister’s fiancé and they have been dating for 4 years now.” Johnny answered.
Jewel sighs.
“What’s wrong?” Ginger asked.
“I miss him so much.” Jewel answered.
Jewel sighs again and starts singing “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely”.

Jewel sits on the steps with her head in hands. Johnny sighs than goes inside and phones Jonah. Jonah’s sister younger sister Jodie answers the phone.
“Hello this Jodie.” Jodie said.
“Hi Jodie.” Johnny replied.
“Who is this?” Jodie asked.
“It’s Jewel’s twin brother Johnny.” Johnny answered.
“What would like?” Jodie asked.
“I want to talk to Jonah.” Johnny answered.
Jonah comes into the room and Jodie passes him the phone.
“Who is it?” Jonah asked.
“It’s your fiancée’s twin brother.” Jodie answered.
Jonah puts his ear to the phone.
“What is Johnny?” Jonah asked.
“My twin sister really misses you.” Johnny answered.
“Where do you live again?” Jonah asked.
“I live close to Grotto’s Grove.” Johnny answered.
“Ok I’m on my way but don’t tell her.” Jonah said.
“Don’t worry I won’t tell her.” Johnny replied.
They hang up on each other. Johnny goes back outside.
“Where did you go to?” Jewel asked.
“I’m sorry but I can’t tell but you’ll know very soon.” Johnny answered.
Jewel gets a confused look on her face. Johnny just smiles.
